I am a cultural historian of ancient Judaism, and I study money and its significance in antiquity, mostly among ancient Jews, but also in other contexts. I also have side interests in Roman Law, Biblical interpretation, textual criticism, and book history.
Currently, I am a fellow of the Martin Buber Society of Fellows at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
